Is there a better season for fashion than fall? Light layers, tall boots, midi skirts, sweaters, suede—the list goes on and on. While summer may be my favorite season for the vibes, fall wins by a landslide when it comes to the outfits. So let’s get into my obsessions for fall ‘25.

The vibe for the season: eclectic. Cool layers, colorful accessories, mixed patterns, and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Patterned midis & maxis. Long skirts and dresses in bold, funky patterns are my current addiction. A paneled, contrasting polka dot skirt is the perfect statement piece to swap out for jeans with a plain white tee. I love anything with a handkerchief hem—it brings the perfect amount of femininity and flow to a look.

Lacy layering. Bring on the lace trim! Slip dresses, satin tanks, and skirts all with lacy hems and lining are having a moment.

Layered over or under plain tees, with denim, with more lace. I especially like slip dresses paired with similar skirts—satins and lace in different colors keeps a look cohesive while adding depth through the hemlines and non-traditional color combos.

Sky & wine. Speaking of colors combos—the pairing

I’m obsessed with this season is wine-red with sky-blue. The rich warm burgundy is lit up by the pretty pale blue, and they keep an outfit feeling fresh but still seasonally appropriate.

Mixing in different tones of blue or brighter pops of red adds even more depth to the color way, and keeps a look consistent without feeling too matchy.

Vintage handbags. There’s no better feeling than finding the a cool handbag at the thrift or vintage store. Knowing that you’re adding a one-of-a-kind accessory to your wardrobe, the kind of piece that automatically makes an outfit feel special, is unbeatable.

This fall is all about eclecticism, and putting together outfits that feel personal. Nothing makes an outfit feel personal like carefully curated vintage accessories.

Denim accessories. Denim purses, structured denim jackets, denim belts, etc. Denim is so fall, and a rich dark-wash makes for such a good outfit detail.

I love an ultra-structured coat or a quilted bomber, and a multi-toned denim purse works like a neutral while still feeling like a statement piece.

Bangles. Bangles have been having their moment all summer, but I am obsessed with layering them into fall looks. Worn over a sweater or button down cuff adds dimension to a look and makes an outfit feel styled and deliberate. Layered bangles are the perfect way to bring color and interest into a simple outfit.

Mixing patterns. My final fall addiction is the ultimate cool-girl style feat: effectively mixing patterns. Crossing a stripe and a polka dot, combining a fruit print with gingham—when it’s done successfully, mixed patterns look so good.
