If you haven’t heard of Odd Muse, then let me introduce you to the UK-based brand founded with the intention of introducing young women to the concept of a luxury capsule wardrobe. The woman-owned business began as a passion project for founder Aimee Smale—she envisioned a brand that was more accessible than traditional luxury fashion, but provided timeless, high quality, and “slow-fashion” pieces that women would keep in their wardrobe for years to come. The brand has grown tremendously since its launch in 2020, but they maintain their ethos of small, carefully curated collections of stunning wardrobe staples.

If you think you’ve never seen an Odd Muse piece, it’s really likely that you have and just didn’t know it. Through the variety of styles they’ve designed, one thing is consistent: a beautifully constructed silhouette. Their dresses and tops tend to have a corset-like structure, with clean lines and well-fitted waists. Even when the fit and necklines vary, their pieces are completely identifiable as Odd Muse. Their commitment to what they do best has led to a number of viral moments for the brand—and deservedly so. The low back balances out the proportion of the chic high neckline, and the V on the waistline makes the fit extra flattering. The way the skirt holds its shape is so beautiful and feels so luxurious.
